#89 Sort Closets

Can't be called a hoarder. I had a productive nesting weekend. Making room for the baby, I went through several closets to pitch trash and sort garage sales items. By reorganizing the closets, I was able to condense them down to provide an empty closet ready for doll size clothes and toys. Those closets will NEVER be that organized again. It was kind of fun at times to sort through boxes and reminisce about forgotten trinkets. I can only imagine all the stuff I am going to collect as our daughter grows up - unable to toss away those adorable crayon drawing and hand-print turkeys. I only think I have enough room right now.

#12 Attend a weather spotting class

Tonight I went to my first storm spotting class. For reasons I can not explain, once I heard about these free informational classes for the community, it intrigued me. It definitely made me appreciate the intelligence of the weather men that used to annoy the piss out of me. I am not about to go sign up for the storm chaser crew, but I learned a few interesting facts on storms and weather that I can tuck back in the trivial knowledge file drawer in my brain to collect dust. I'd like to thank those storm chasers and weather men reading the radar for looking out for me and the community. Never underestimate the power of mother nature. :)

#27 Do my taxes with less help

I have come to the conclusion that this one is not going to happen. . . ever. Everyone has their own skills and talents and accounting is NOT mine. I had every intention of this year trying to work through as much as my taxes on my own as I could. But once again, my poor mother sat so patiently next to me explaining this foreign mumbo jumbo to me step by step for the 10th time. Hoping maybe some day it will have been repeated to me enough times that I might catch on. So, god bless my mom and her skills. Couldn't do it without you. Gurrrrr
